BENEFITS

• Members can nominate a person for induction into the State Hall of the Writers Hall of Fame® of America in his or her state. Those who may be inducted include: book authors, songwriters (lyrics), journalists, poets, novelists, screenwriters, playwrights, teachers of writing, publishers, etc.
  
  
• Members can help pick the living author to be given the new annual "Golden Quill Award" beginning in 2007. A committee of experts will choose the nominees for this award, but the winner will be chosen strictly on the votes of the dues-paying members of the Writers Hall of Fame® of America.
  
  
• Members will receive the quarterly newsletter The Joy of Writing so they may be kept up-to-date on news, projects, press releases, announcements, annual inductees and honorees, annual scholarship winners and their quotes, writing contest winners, and scholarship winners.
  
  
• Members will have access to our "Members Only" section of our website where they can view writing tips from our inductees and other sources.
  
  
• Members will be eligible to enter any "Members Only" writing contests Writers Hall of Fame® of America shall sponsor from time to time, with the winners receiving a $25 first prize and having their entry posted on our popular website.
  
  
• Members will be the first to receive information on any seminars, workshops, and conferences sponsored by Writers Hall of Fame® of America.
  
  
• Members will be offered first chance at tickets to future Writers Hall of Fame® of America Awards & Recognition Ceremonies for Chapters, State Halls, and the National Hall.
  
  
• Members will receive a specially designed Writers Hall of Fame® of America membership certificate, suitable for framing.
